-“Myaku-Myaku” makes another appearance in the night sky, with the next event already confirmed-
Redcliff Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Komei Sasaki; hereinafter “Redcliff”), a company specializing in the planning and operation of drone shows, conducted a drone show at “OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS & DRONES” (Hosted by: OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA Executive Committee), held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Maishima Sports Island Sora no Hiroba (Konohana-ku, Osaka City).
Around 15,000 people attended the event, enjoying a new form of night entertainment that fused 10,000 fireworks synchronized with music and a total of 2,000 drones from Redcliff.
This event, held for the first time in the Expo bay area of Maishima, drew significant attention with a special performance featuring “Myaku-Myaku,” the official character of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, alongside a powerful display woven together by fireworks and drones.
“The Birth of Life” depicted by 1,000 drones

Set against the Maishima sky as dusk turned into night, the opening drone show unfolded with the themes of “life, vitality, mystery, and the sea.”

Cheers erupted from the audience as a phoenix appeared spreading its wings wide to signal the opening of the event.

After that, the display transformed into DNA, ripples spreading from a heartbeat, and dome-like expressions that evoked the surge of life. Then, a dragon god and a whale moved dynamically, changing shape into bubbles and a goddess that represented the birth of new life.

The core of life that was in the hands of the goddess eventually dissolved into a tree, and a peaceful world spread out where birds and creatures gathered atop the trees. A grand story of life being born one after another and that circle expanding was drawn in the night sky by 1,000 drones.
In addition, “flash modules” with about six times the brightness of conventional LED lights emitted light throughout the performance. The changing intensity of the light expressed the heartbeat and dynamism of life, captivating the audience.
Connecting Expo memories to the future: “Myaku-Myaku” and “ID” appear in the night sky

Towards the end of the opening drone show, “Myaku-Myaku,” the official character of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and “ID” made their appearance.
During the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, “Myaku-Myaku” became a familiar favorite among many visitors, and even after the closing of the Expo, the character appeared in the night sky as a drone show. As a legacy performance linking memories of the Expo to the future, it drew great attention from many in the audience.
Audiences wearing “Myaku-Myaku” merchandise, such as plushies and headbands, could be seen at the venue, and loud cheers and applause erupted when the giant “Myaku-Myaku” and “ID” appeared in the night sky.
Then, an announcement by “Myaku-Myaku” guided the audience into the world of fireworks.

After that, for about 40 minutes, 10,000 fireworks synchronized with famous songs colored the night sky, captivating everyone’s attention at the venue.
A grand panorama created by 10,000 fireworks and drones: The finale depicting “Enthusiasm, Dynamism, and the Future”

Towards the end of the event, a giant bell created by 1,000 drones appeared in the night sky, transitioning into the final song.
Next, a mirror ball, a kaleidoscope, and taiko drums were depicted one after another, marking the start of the ending drone show themed around “Enthusiasm, Dynamism, and the Future.”

Motifs evocative of Osaka festivals, such as portable shrines (mikoshi) and lanterns, spread across the night sky, and the simultaneous performance with fireworks created a spectacular grand panorama that enveloped the entire venue in light.

During the scene where the fireworks and drones were deployed simultaneously, visitors could be seen all over the venue holding up their smartphones to capture the moment. The competition of light between the fireworks and drones spreading across the night sky created an immersive experience that enveloped the entire venue, becoming a symbolic scene for this event where cheers and applause never ceased.

And in the finale, “Myaku-Myaku” appeared once again, riding a rocket. The trajectory of the rocket as it launched into the night sky transformed into words related to Osaka and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and a message was sent from “Myaku-Myaku” to the audience, wishing for their next reunion.
Long lines formed even before opening, and the Redcliff experience booth was a massive success
From the venue opening at 13:00 until the start of the show, a large number of visitors flooded Redcliff’s experience booth, forming a long line.

At the venue, a drone programming experience was held using the “Hula-JP,” an educational drone weighing under 100 grams that supports Python. A wide range of generations, from children to adults, piloted the drones and took on the mission of reaching the goal while dodging obstacles.
