— Toride Lights Up the Sky Again! Local Symbols Take Flight for the Third Summer in a Row —
REDCLIFF Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koumei Sasaki), a company specializing in the planning and production of drone shows, will deliver a drone performance at the 70th Toride Tone River Grand Fireworks Festival, to be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
This marks the third consecutive year that REDCLIFF has participated in the event, following strong audience response to the shows in the previous two years.
In 2025, the show will reach its largest scale ever, featuring 600 drones lighting up the night sky with spectacular synchronized visuals.
Turning Love for the Local Community into Sky Art
Since 2023, REDCLIFF has been responsible for producing drone shows at the Toride Tone River Grand Fireworks Festival, making this year the third consecutive appearance.
We are deeply honored to continue this collaboration, thanks to the warm and enthusiastic response we have received from so many visitors each year.
As a gesture of gratitude and respect to the local community, this year’s performance will feature drone visuals inspired by symbols that represent Toride City.
The show will highlight natural and cultural icons associated with Toride, filling the sky with dynamic imagery.
Birds such as the owl and kingfisher—recognized as representative species of the city—will soar through the night sky, conveying a sense of vitality and life.
In addition, the azalea, Toride’s official city flower, will bloom brightly above the audience in a captivating aerial display.

This year, REDCLIFF will also take on a bold and unprecedented challenge: using 600 drones to create a giant drone-shaped image in the sky—a concept never before attempted.
