On June 6, 2026, we were in charge of planning and directing the drone show at “OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS & DRONES,” a futuristic night entertainment event held in Maishima, Osaka.
A futuristic entertainment experience created by 10,000 fireworks and a total of 2,000 drones.
At this event, 10,000 music-synchronized fireworks merged with a drone show featuring a total of 2,000 drones.
Set against the backdrop of Maishima’s vast bay area, we delivered an immersive entertainment experience where fireworks, music, and drones were perfectly synchronized.
From “Life” to the “Future”: A Grand Drone Show Told in Two Parts
The drone show was presented in two parts: an opening show themed around “life, vital energy, mystery, and the ocean,” and a closing show themed around “enthusiasm, dynamism, and the future.”
With 1,000 drones per session—totaling 2,000 drones—a grand story was painted across the Osaka night sky.
The event also featured a special performance showcasing “Myaku-Myaku,” the official character of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
As a unique feature of the Maishima venue, which sits right next to the Expo site, the performance captivated an audience of approximately 15,000 visitors.
During the wide-view performance where fireworks and drones lit up the sky simultaneously, the synchronization of light and sound filled everyone’s field of vision, enveloping the entire venue in a wave of excitement.
