A “next-generation night entertainment” fusing fireworks and drones
“OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS & DRONES” is a next-generation night entertainment event that fuses 10,000 fireworks synchronized with music—crafted by a select team of pyrotechnicians led by Katsuragi Enka—with a drone show featuring a total of 2,000 drones by Red Cliff.
Set against the backdrop of Maishima’s vast bay area, audiences can enjoy a spectacular performance as fireworks and drones light up the night sky. From Maishima, right next to the Expo site, this futuristic entertainment will be showcased to the world.
From “Life” to the “Future”: A Spectacular Two-Part Drone Show
The drone show presented by Red Cliff will feature a two-part structure with an opening and an ending. A total of 2,000 drones—1,000 for each part—will paint an epic story across Osaka’s night sky.
The performance, utilizing 1,000 drones per session, is on the same scale as the “One World, One Planet.” show that flew nightly during Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and will captivate visitors with its overwhelming sense of scale.

In honor of the event being held in Maishima, which neighbors Yumeshima—the venue of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan—a special performance featuring “Myaku-Myaku,” the official Expo character, is scheduled to take place.
Red Cliff participated in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as a Platinum Partner for the association’s official events, presenting the “One World, One Planet.” drone show over a period of approximately six months.
Furthermore, the company sponsored the “EXPO2025 Futures Festival”—the opening 1st anniversary event that served as the first installment of the Expo 1st Anniversary Memorial Event “EXPO2025 Futures” held on April 12, 2026—where it showcased a one-night-only special edition of the “One World, One Planet.” drone show.
In this upcoming special performance, the drones will uniquely illustrate Myaku-Myaku in the night sky, showcasing different expressions and charms distinct from those seen during the Expo period.
An experience booth by Red Cliff will also be set up, offering fun before the main show starts.
