Red Cliff Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koumei Sasaki; hereafter “Red Cliff”), a company specializing in the planning and operation of drone shows, will jointly host the “Drone Show Seminar in Hokkaido for Local Governments and Tourism Organizations” for two days, on Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10, 2025.
This seminar is a collaboration with North Drone Show Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Base: Kamishihoro-cho, Kato-gun, Hokkaido; CEO: Toshifumi Suganuma; hereafter “North Drone Show”), and will take place at Maruyama Athletics Stadium in Sapporo City, Hokkaido.
Red Cliff’s Track Record in Hokkaido
Red Cliff launched its drone show business in 2021, and in December of the same year, executed what was then the largest-scale drone show in Japan, involving 300 drones, in Kamishihoro-cho, Hokkaido.
Since then, Red Cliff has independently handled the production and operation for the “Otaru Ushio Matsuri.” Additionally, in collaboration with North Drone Show, we have staged large-scale shows at the “Kachimai Fireworks Festival” and developed the “Meal Plan with Drone Show Seating,” which was adopted as a Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax Donation) return gift by Kamishihoro-cho. These projects have drawn attention to drone shows as signature events and key regional tourism resources in Hokkaido.
Against the backdrop of these achievements, this seminar will serve as an opportunity to introduce the full potential of drone shows to a wider range of local governments, organizations, and companies.

The seminar will be delivered in two parts: a Lecture Seminar and a 50-Drone Demo Flight.

Drone shows are currently gaining attention as a new nighttime content for fireworks festivals and local events, significantly contributing to tourism promotion and the expansion of the exchange population. Through this seminar, Red Cliff aims to merge Hokkaido’s regional resources with cutting-edge technology to expand the possibilities for creating new tourism and culture.
