Redcliffe Inc. This exhibition, one of Japan’s largest drone-specific trade shows, will be held at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, June 3 to Friday, June 5, 2026 (Organizer: Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA); Co-organizer: Congrés Inc.).
What is “Japan Drone,” One of Japan’s Largest Drone-Specific Exhibitions?
“Japan Drone” is one of Japan’s largest drone-specific exhibitions, marking its 11th milestone since its inception in 2016.
The event provides a platform for concrete business matching to solve various challenges. It accelerates the development of social infrastructure while actively promoting smart city initiatives to achieve a more enriched lifestyle.
Redcliffe will perform drone shows over a period of approximately six months at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Redcliffe launched its drone show business in 2021. Since then, we have been working to create new, community-rooted aerial experiences across the country by collaborating with companies, local governments, and organizations on drone shows and event production.
Furthermore, at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, Redcliffe participated as a Platinum Partner for the association’s official events. We conducted drone shows themed “One World, One Planet.” over a period of approximately six months, delivering a brand-new entertainment experience to the many visitors arriving from both Japan and around the world.
Introducing Case Studies of Regional Revitalization and Tourism Promotion Through Drone Shows
The theme for this year’s “11th Japan Drone 2026” is “The Infrastructure Revolution via Drones: Regional Revitalization and Urban Development.”
At the Redcliffe booth, we will showcase case studies of tourism promotion and regional revitalization achieved through drone shows across Japan. Our staff will also be on hand to directly explain our initiatives aimed at solving regional challenges.
In addition, Redcliffe is seeking partner companies to co-promote regional revitalization through drone shows across Japan. We aim to partner with companies and organizations that have strong local networks and communication skills to bring brand-new entertainment experiences to even more people nationwide. At our booth, visitors can also consult with us regarding our partnership system and potential collaborations.
Exhibiting the actual drone models used in real shows
In addition, we will exhibit the actual drone models used in our outdoor and indoor drone shows.
We will also provide detailed information on how drone shows work, the implementation process, and their potential for utilization as a new business venture.
Introducing Drone Programming as Part of Our STEAM Education Initiatives
With growing interest in STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) within Japan, Redcliffe is also focusing on initiatives that expand future options for children through drone education.
At this exhibition, in addition to our educational initiatives such as the hands-on drone programming experience, we will introduce case studies utilizing “Hula-JP,” a drone weighing under 100g that also supports Python. We also welcome consultations from businesses interested in introducing or purchasing and retailing the Hula-JP.
