「DIG SHIBUYA 2026 / Digital Garage DRONE SHOW “Earthshot”」
~Red Cliff’s participating drone show breaks the record for the largest drone show in Japan~
Red Cliff Inc. is pleased to announce that the drone show “DIG SHIBUYA 2026 / Digital Garage DRONE SHOW ‘Earthshot’,” held over Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo on Saturday, February 14, 2026, has been officially certified by the Japan Record Accreditation Association as the “Largest Drone Show in Japan.”
This drone show was co-hosted by Digital Garage, Inc., the SHIBUYA CREATIVE TECH Executive Committee, Shibuya City, and Red Cliff as an official partner program of the technology and art event “DIG SHIBUYA 2026.”
The show utilized 3,030 drones to depict an epic story across the night sky. In honor of co-host Digital Garage, Inc. celebrating its 30th anniversary since its founding in 1995, the number of aircraft was set to 3,030 to symbolize the number “30.”
This fleet size was officially recognized by the Japan Record Accreditation Association, certifying it as a new Japanese record for the “Largest Drone Show in Japan.”
Red Cliff breaks the record for “Japan’s Largest Drone Show” for the third time
Red Cliff has consistently broken the record for Japan’s largest drone show.
・DIG SHIBUYA DG DRONE SHOW (February 8, 2025): 2,200 drones
・Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai “One World, One Planet.” Drone Show (October 13, 2025): 3,000 drones
And now, by executing a drone show with 3,030 drones, we have once again broken the record for the largest drone show in Japan. The challenge undertaken in this show marks a significant step forward in expanding the expressive and technical possibilities of drone entertainment.
Concept: From “Moonshot” to “Earthshot”
The concept of this drone show is “EARTHSHOT – From ‘Moonshot’ to ‘Earthshot’.” It is a modern reinterpretation of the “Moonshot” (sending humanity to the moon) spirit famously championed by former U.S. President John F. Kennedy in his Apollo program speech about 60 years ago.
Just as humanity once aimed for the distant goal of the moon, the message of this show shifts the focus from a vision of flying far away to a “posture for continuing to stand here on Earth” for the coming era.
An epic story depicted by 3,030 drones

The drones transformed the night sky into a canvas, depicting a series of stories. The show kicked off with a magnificent scene of a rocket launching from Earth into space, followed by an encounter on the lunar surface between an astronaut and “Digi-Hachi,” a bee character from the future designated as the “28th generation.”

Furthermore, the Earth was envisioned as a screen, fantastically depicting the birth of land, sea, and air creatures as life began to spread. This display of light, a fusion of technology and art, expanded across the entire Shibuya night sky.
A giant heart appears in the Valentine’s Day night sky

In the finale, a massive heart appeared across the night sky to mark the occasion of Valentine’s Day. As the display of light colored the Shibuya sky, the venue erupted in cheers, bringing the drone show to an emotional and moving conclusion.
