REDCLIFF Held “Coca-Cola Christmas Drone Show 2024” in Kobe and Yokohama with Japan's Largest Class of 1,225 Drones

~REDCLIFF’s “carbonation” will be recreated in Yokohama with a surprise drone equipped with a firework display~

(Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Komei Sasaki; hereinafter “Red Cliff”), a drone show planning and management company, has taken charge of the “Coca-Cola Christmas Drone Show 2024” in Kobe and Yokohama from November to December 2024 (hosted by Coca-Cola Japan). Coca-Cola Japan, Inc. Under the theme of “Cheers,” 1,225 drones, the largest* in Japan, painted the Coca-Cola Christmas truck, Santa Claus, and Christmas tree in the night sky, creating a magical space with music.

A toast with a giant Santa Claus! An impressive Christmas show spun by drones

The Coca-Cola Christmas Drone Show, titled “Coca-Cola Christmas Drone Show Flying Christmas Truck,” was held in Yokohama in 2023 at Meriken Park (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) on Wednesday, November 27, followed by a drone show on Saturday, December 7, near the Shinko Pier at the Port of Yokohama (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture).

On the day of the event, 1,225 drones decorated the night sky under the theme of “Toast” in honor of Christmas (December 25). The drones moved to the music, changing their LED lights to create various patterns in the night sky.

During the show, the words “MERRY CHRISTMAS” came to life and Santa Claus and his reindeer appeared. Next, a “Coca-Cola Christmas Truck” carried gift boxes, and a shining Christmas tree emerged from the box and decorated the sky.

A “Coca-Cola” bottle appeared, and the lid was opened to recreate the “sizzle” of carbonated water being poured into the bottle. At the Yokohama venue, a surprise performance using a drone equipped with fireworks to express the carbonation with the light and power of fireworks was also held, which drew cheers from the audience.

Let’s make a Kampai! and a giant Santa Claus appeared and toasted the visitors with a shout of “Merry Christmas! and toasted the audience with the words “Merry Christmas! At the end of the show, a “Drone Show QR” floated in the night sky, and the first 10,000 visitors who read it with their smart phones received a gift. After the 15-minute show, many visitors commented, “It was a lot of fun to toast with Santa,” “I really liked the part where the Christmas tree came out of the presents,” and “I was very impressed with the quality, which was better than I had imagined.
