– A 10-day limited event spanning the year-end and New Year holidays, where 500 lights illuminate the “Miracle Wisteria” and the winter night sky –
Redcliffe Co., Ltd., which plans and operates drone shows, will plan and produce the park’s first-ever 500-drone show, “Flower Fantasy Drone Show,” at Ashikaga Flower Park, operated by Ashikaga Flower Resort Co., Ltd. Trust Creative Corporation will handle the operation, delivering a special show limited to 10 days spanning the year-end and New Year holidays.
Ashikaga Flower Park is a renowned winter attraction known as one of the “Three Great Illuminations of Japan.” The illumination theme for this season is “Flower Fantasy 2025-2026: A Garden of Illuminated Flowers.” Over 5 million lights illuminate the vast park, which spans approximately 100,000 square meters, creating an ethereal “garden of illuminated flowers.” A drone show in the night sky, linked to this worldview, will be realized for the first time this winter.
A “Fantasy of Light” spanning only 10 days, connecting the illuminations and the night sky
This drone show is a special production that combines the illumination theme, “A Garden of Illuminated Flowers,” with fantasy elements and extends it into the night sky. The narrative begins with ephemeral and fantastical flashes suggesting the light of life, then 500 drones depict the fluttering of butterflies, flowers blooming brilliantly in the night sky, and the “Fantasy of Light” enveloping the park in winter.
Furthermore, the “Miracle Wisteria,” which is the symbol of Ashikaga Flower Park and has grown from 72 square meters at the time of its opening to approximately 1,000 square meters today, will be recreated in the night sky. Responding to the illuminations on the ground, the park’s history and pride will bloom in the sky.
Overwhelming Immersion Created by Low Altitude, Large Scale, and Flash Modules.
This show will be conducted at a low altitude, ranging from a minimum of 40m to a maximum of 150m. The feeling of the night sky being closer creates a more dynamic and powerful experience.
Furthermore, some of the 500 drones will be equipped with “Flash Modules,” which were also used as a special effect in the drone show for the Association-Organized Event “One World, One Planet.” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. By emitting intense, momentary flashes, these modules will add sharp accents to the climax and impressive scenes of the story, creating an unforgettable spectacle.
Enjoy “Searching for the Best Spot” within the Park
The view of the drone show changes depending on where you watch it within the park. While enjoying the show head-on with powerful sound is certainly an option, viewing it over the illuminations can offer moments where the lights on the ground and the lights in the night sky appear to connect. We encourage you to enjoy the show, including taking photos, while searching for your own “best spot.”
