Ashikaga Flower Park hosted its first-ever “Flower Fantasy Drone Show.”
This special event ran for a limited 10-day period spanning the New Year holidays, held during the park’s famous winter attraction, “Garden of Illuminated Flowers: Flower Fantasy 2025-2026″—recognized as one of Japan’s three major illumination events. *Two days were cancelled during the period due to poor weather.
Coordinated with over 5 million lights spread across the roughly 100,000 $m^2$ grounds, 500 drones took to the air to weave a story full of fantasy, extending the park’s enchanting atmosphere into the night sky.
The performance featured a recreation of the park’s iconic “Great Miracle Wisteria” in the stars and included powerful low-altitude maneuvers. Some drones were also equipped with flash modules, creating a highly immersive light display that seamlessly unified the ground and the sky.
