Banpakuhanabi Project Organizing Committee
On November 23, 2024 (Saturday, national holiday), the event’s first drone show of 500 drones was held at the “The 3rd Banpaku Night Sky Becomes Art day 2024” in Expo Park. The night sky of Osaka was decorated with fireworks-equipped drones and a spectacular world of the night sky and space.
The drone show started with a countdown by the emcee. The words “Welcome to North Osaka” floated in the night sky, signaling the start of the event. The audience cheered at the fantastic light art, which was followed by the appearance of sparkling cubes and motifs inspired by Christmas and snow.
After a fireworks display, the emcee announced the end of the event, and as the audience headed home, the logos of the event’s sponsors were painted in the night sky, creating a spectacular finale.
