Red Cliff Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Komei Sasaki; hereinafter “Red Cliff”), a company specializing in the planning and operation of drone shows, will hold the Shinobazu Drone Show, “Ueno Monogatari (Ueno Story) in the Sky,” on November 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), 2025. The show will take place during the “Peace of Light” light and sound art festival (Organizer: Ueno Tourism Federation), which is held at the Ueno Park / Shinobazu Pond area from October 31 (Fri) to November 3 (Mon/Holiday), 2025.
Ueno’s First Drone Show: A Light Art Woven by 400 Drones
With the night sky of Ueno, Tokyo, as its stage, 400 drones will depict “Ueno Monogatari (Ueno Story) in the Sky,” a narrative embodying a wish for “peace.” This marks the first time a drone show has been held in the Ueno area ($\text{}$).The sky above Ueno Park’s Shinobazu Pond will be transformed into a canvas of light, with various motifs symbolizing Ueno—including pandas, Ameya-Yokochō (Ameyoko) street market, and cherry blossoms in full bloom—rising into the night sky alongside the music.
