Hololive 8th Anniversary: "Shiny Sparklers Symphony" Event Report

An immersive entertainment event integrating music, fireworks, drones, and vocal performance.

The Hololive 8th Anniversary event, “Shiny Sparklers Symphony,” was held at Makuhari Beach within Makuhari Seaside Park, Chiba Prefecture, on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Red Cliff was responsible for the direction and operation of the 1,000-drone show for this event.

Accompanied by popular Hololive music, illustrations of the VTuber talents were dynamically painted across the entire night sky. In addition to the synchronized lighting effects of fireworks and drones moving with the music, real-time commentary by the VTuber talents was incorporated, generating immense excitement and uniting the audience. Furthermore, the innovative show content instantly became a major topic on social media, achieving the #1 trend ranking on X (formerly Twitter).

The drone show was presented as an audience-participation event, where spectators operated their concert lights, changing colors and calling out in response to the music and the VTuber talents’ commentary. This integration created a unified, passionate, and live-concert-like anniversary event.
