2,025 Drones Illuminate the Sky with “Wings to the Future” to Ring in 2025
From December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025, RedCliff held its first independently produced drone show, the “REDCLIFF COUNTDOWN DRONE SHOW 2025”, in collaboration with Kobe Illuminage in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This project, realized in partnership with the Kobe Illuminage Countdown New Year Festival 2024–2025, marked a new kind of “Festival of Lights.”
To celebrate the arrival of the new year, we challenged ourselves with a show featuring 2,025 drones—the largest scale ever in Japan*—directed by renowned creative director Kenji Kohashi. Themed “Wings to the Future,” the performance illuminated the night sky with a breathtaking sense of wonder.
The show also featured drones equipped with fireworks, delivering a dazzling and unforgettable New Year’s celebration for all in attendance.
