REDCLIFF COUNTDOWN DRONE SHOW 2026

Mark the beginning of 2026 with a display created by 2,026 drones, one of the largest spectacles in the Kanto region.

On the night of New Year’s Eve 2025, RedCliff hosted its own countdown drone show, the “REDCLIFF COUNTDOWN DRONE SHOW 2026,” at the Funabashi Racecourse in Chiba Prefecture.

This event was designed around the concept of providing a symbolic experience—”welcoming the New Year at a racecourse”—to mark the turning point of the year as we enter the Year of the Fire Horse (Hinoe-uma).
It created a new kind of countdown experience, allowing everyone to share the special moment of the year’s transition through a spectacular display in the night sky.

The overall production was led by Kenji Kohashi, who served as the Event Planning Producer for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
Under the theme “Run to the New World — Racing Toward the Future,” 2,026 drones filled the night sky as the New Year approached.
The display utilized 3D animation and light sequences to capture the exhilarating feeling of stepping forward into the future.

By combining the unique racecourse location, zodiac motifs, and a large-scale drone performance, we realized a memorable spatial production perfectly suited for New Year’s Eve.

In addition, singer HIPPY joined as a special guest, making the event a new model for New Year’s Eve productions that seamlessly blend entertainment, the unique nature of the venue, and a compelling narrative.
