Omagari Chamber of Commerce and Industry
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the “Omagari Fireworks – Autumn Chapter – Fireworks Arts Festival” was held in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, and Red Cliff, the annual sponsor of the “Omagari Fireworks”, performed an opening drone show. This fireworks festival has a tradition dating back to 1910, and since the Autumn Chapter began in 2010, it has been a popular event for enjoying the long nights of mid-autumn. This year, about 8,000 fireworks and 500 drones captivated the audience. After the opening announcement, the words “Omagari Fireworks – Autumn Chapter” appeared in the sky along with music, & the show, which was full of Akita-like elements such as Kiritanpo & Akita
dogs, erupted in cheers and applause from the audience.
