1,500 Drones Light Up the Oimachi Night Sky
An “Entertainment of Light and Sky” Held to Celebrate the Grand Opening of OIMACHI TRACKS

In March 2026, a large-scale drone show titled “TRACKS OPENING DRONE SHOW” was held featuring 1,500 drones to celebrate the grand opening of the “OIMACHI TRACKS” multi-purpose complex.
Under the theme of “Entertainment of Light and Sky,” this nighttime event combined projection mapping with a drone show. It illuminated the birth of the Oimachi area’s new landmark with cutting-edge spatial production.

During the drone show, animations of trains were drawn across the night sky, symbolizing the connection between the towns within the greater Shinagawa area—linking Hamamatsucho, Tamachi, Takanawa Gateway, Shinagawa, and Oimachi. This production showcased the town’s potential for growth and sparked anticipation for the future.

In a sequence inspired by a movie theater screen, a massive Godzilla appeared in the night sky. The powerful display made it look as if the monster were truly invading the Shinagawa area, causing many passersby to stop in their tracks and bringing tremendous excitement to the venue.

Additionally, a message reading “Nice to meet you, everyone in Oimachi! We look forward to being part of the community from today onward!” was displayed across the night sky, expressing greetings to the local community and the vision behind the grand opening. Fireworks, which are difficult to set off in central Tokyo, were also recreated using drones, creating a special experience unique to this opening commemorative event.

Meanwhile, a projection mapping and lighting event titled “OIMACHI TRACKS LIGHT TRAIL” was held simultaneously within the complex. This immersive production using light and video delivered an urban entertainment experience where visitors could enjoy different charms by day and night.

Redcliffe* provides highly buzz-worthy and crowd-pulling spatial productions utilizing drone shows for commercial facility opening events, regional revitalization events, and night-time economy initiatives.
