As part of the “MUSIC LOVES ART 2024 – MICUSRAT” project sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, a spectacular drone show was held at the “SUMMER SONIC 2024” held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, with the first* attempt in Japan. A spectacular drone show with 1,000 drones, including one equipped with fireworks, was held at SUMMER SONIC 2024, held at Expo ‘70 Park in Suita City, Osaka, on Saturday, August 17. The show was held in conjunction with the “SUMMER SONIC 2024” urban music festival, with the aim of bringing enjoyment to a segment of the population that rarely has opportunities to come into contact with art.
The theme of the drone show was “rebirth” and “han-ei,” and the world of art by “GOMA,” a well-known pointillist, was expressed through Red Cliff‘s technology.
