This second announcement includes details on the “Starlit Sky Drone Theater” show, the lineup of performing artists for the “Shooting Star Stage,” and the full event timetable.
Two “Starlit Sky Drone Theater” Shows Brought to Life by 500 Drones
Set against the night sky of Showa Kinen Park, the “Starlit Sky Drone Theater”—a 500-drone show—will feature a two-part program each day.
Part 1 (Around 7:15 PM)
Movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day / Summer Festival Special Drone Show
The first half will bring the world of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day (releasing Friday, July 31, 2026) to the night sky. Leaping off the screen and into the skies over Tachikawa, Spider-Man will come to life in a dynamic display capturing the hero’s thrilling world.
The second half features the theme of “Japanese Summer Festivals & Summer Vacation Memories,” filling the night sky with vibrant iconic seasonal motifs including wind chimes, goldfish, rhinoceros beetles, and sunflowers.
Part 2 (Around 8:15 PM)
Starlit Orchestra
This original story begins at the “Grand Zelkova,” the iconic symbol tree of Showa Kinen Park, before unfolding into a sky illuminated by summer constellations. Set to enchanted music, visitors can enjoy a magical 10-minute drone show where stars and lights dance across the night sky.
“Shooting Star Stage” Artist Lineup Revealed
A full lineup of 13 artists has been confirmed to perform on the special stage overlooking the “Illuminated Zelkova.”

A four-member performance group pioneering “Brass-Dance”—a fusion of brass instruments and dance. Powered by their dynamic brass sound and high-energy live performances, they have amassed over 2 million followers across social media. Garnering spotlight both domestically and internationally, they are set to embark on their first-ever European tour in the summer of 2026.
■Rootomo
A popular harmony duo taking TikTok and YouTube by storm. Formed by “Ruka” and “Tomoka Okanoya,” who first met through a cappella, their one-of-a-kind vocal harmonies have captured widespread attention, with their “Harmony Karaoke” videos surpassing 200 million total views. They continue to build a passionate fan base both in Japan and abroad.
■Wakazaemon
A renowned left-handed bassist. Selected as a member of “Cotonanamore momo” while still in music college, she has performed at numerous major music festivals. Today, she engages in a wide array of activities—from supporting live performances and composing music to reviewing gear—and successfully held her solo tour in 2026.
■Rioka Kanda
A singer-songwriter and radio personality from Urayasu, Chiba. Her relatable, heartfelt lyrics resonate deeply across generations. Following her tenure with the music collective Goose house, she launched her solo career, going on to achieve milestone solo concerts at venues like Zepp DiverCity and host her own radio shows.
■WHITE SCORPION
An 11-member idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto and formed through an extensive audition process. Making their debut in 2023 with the single “Eyewitness Sniper” (Manazashi Sniper), the group has actively released digital singles and mini-albums. They currently captivate audiences through regular stage performances and solo concerts.

A music unit launched in 2025 around the core concept of “A Beacon for Solitude.” Delivering songs that gently embrace the universal feeling of loneliness, they achieved an impressive milestone of releasing new music for 12 consecutive months right from their debut. Through their artistry, they continue to guide listeners toward a brighter future.
■wapiti
A four-piece band formed in Tokyo in 2023. Captivating audiences with their graceful melodies, soulful vocals, and emotionally evocative lyrics, they made their major-label debut in 2025 with the single “Rockstar”. Following the success of their first headlining tour across Japan and abroad in spring 2026, the band continues to steadily expand its global fanbase.
■Uchu Mao
A singer-songwriter who made her indie debut in 2012 and major-label debut in 2017. Having performed at major music festivals across Japan, she currently operates as an independent artist. Her versatile talent extends to composing commercial jingles, corporate theme songs, and providing songs for various prominent artists.
■Iny
An emerging artist who gained widespread attention through vocal cover videos on TikTok, accumulating over 10 million total views. Expanding her reach across various media, she has contributed theme songs for film and television dramas, while her latest single “Polaris” was featured on official Spotify playlists.
■Masato Omi
A home-recording singer-songwriter known for his distinct musicality and a unique voice that blends delicate nuance with a relaxed, effortless haze. Just a year after launching his music career, he earned a coveted spot on stage at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL. In 2026, he released his 4th EP, “Josou no Akichi” (Vacant Lot of Emotion).
■SUKEROQUE
A solo project led by SHOHEI, who personally handles songwriting, composing, and arranging. The project is characterized by his sweet, soaring vocals and a groovy sound that seamlessly blends the best elements of Western and Japanese pop/rock. In 2026, he released two EPs—“X” and “Y”—in consecutive months, marking his first new record releases in two years.
■GAROCKTOKYO
An all-female rock duo consisting of prosthetics-wearing guitarist Lisa13 and vocalist Misaki. Defined by their unique fusion of “Gal” culture and rock music paired with explosive live performances, the duo made waves by performing at a major U.S. Japanese culture festival just three months after their formation. Today, they actively captivate audiences both in Japan and internationally.
■Name the Night ~2P DubStyle~
A four-piece band formed in Kamakura in 2023. Centered around the concept of “Giving a Name to Every Night,” they create music designed to illuminate the evening hours. Embracing a true DIY ethos, the band handles everything in-house—from songwriting and graphic design to video production—while actively performing across live venues and street setups alike.
*For this festival, band members Daisuke Yamamori (Vo & Gt) and Takuya Hatakeyama (Trombone & Sampler) will perform as the duo unit Name the Night ~2P DubStyle~.
From Summer Dusk to the Grand Sky Finale: An Unforgettable Nightlong Experience
At 5:00 PM, the gates open to reveal the “Milky Way Food Court” with its lined-up food trucks, the “Shooting Star Stage” featuring live music performances, and the mesmerizing “Illuminated Zelkova” illuminated for the evening.
Following sunset, the night begins with the “Starlight Lantern” lighting ceremony and sky release. The magic continues with Parts 1 and 2 of the “Starlight Drone Theater,” featuring a fleet of 500 drones. Finally, the evening reaches its climax with the “Shower of Light Music Fireworks Show,” bringing a breathtaking end to an enchanting summer night.
