– Featuring Three Special Performances for the 110th Anniversary Milestone: A Special Display for the Movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” a Collaborative Drone Show with M!LK, and More –
REDCLIFF Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Komei Sasaki; hereinafter “REDCLIFF”), a company specializing in the planning and operation of drone shows, will be responsible for the production, direction, and operation of a special drone light show at the “Historic 110th Ashikaga Fireworks Festival” (Organized by the Ashikaga Fireworks Festival Executive Committee, located within the Ashikaga Chamber of Commerce and Industry) on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
First held in 1903, the Ashikaga Fireworks Festival is a historic event boasting one of the largest scales in the Kanto region. Attracting visitors from across the region every year, it is affectionately known as “The 500,000-Person Evening Breeze.” The festival lights up the night sky with approximately 20,000 fireworks, including large-caliber shells, wide starmines, and a massive “Niagara” waterfall display.
To mark the milestone 110th edition, a 15-minute “110th Anniversary Special Drone Show” will take place prior to the fireworks launch. Featuring 500 drones in a custom three-part program, countless lights will shine like stars in the night sky to celebrate this one-night-only spectacle.

Furthermore, this drone show will celebrate the festival’s 110th milestone with three special presentations: (1) a special display celebrating the release of the movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” (2) a collaborative drone show with the popular idol group “M!LK,” and (3) a giant QR code presentation in partnership with the N4 Project.
Special Drone Show Celebrating the Release of the Movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”
A special drone show will be conducted to celebrate the theatrical release of the movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, July 31, 2026.
A fleet of 500 drones will render animations inspired by Spider-Man in the night sky, creating a dynamic universe reminiscent of scenes from the film.
Special Presentation Interweaving M!LK’s Music and Drones
A collaborative drone show will be featured with “M!LK,” a popular idol group that includes Jyutaro Yamanaka—a native of Ashikaga City who serves as a Tochigi Future Ambassador.
Set to M!LK’s music, the drones will draw magical animations, delivering a special performance where music and light merge together.
Note: The group members themselves will not be appearing live at the event.
Giant QR Code Presentation for Peace Prayers in Collaboration with N4 Project
In this drone show, a special display will feature a giant QR code formed by drones in the night sky in collaboration with the “N4 Project” (N4_Project), an Osaka-based initiative dedicated to peace activities.
The N4 Project works to build a framework that allows people to naturally participate in peace activities and social contributions in their daily lives by creating and selling bookmarks made from recycled paper of peace paper cranes sent from around the world to Hiroshima.
Through the QR code displayed in the night sky, this event will create an opportunity for a wider audience to learn about the project’s activities.
